BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 10. Uzbekistan has exported textile products worth $2.9 billion from January through November 2022, Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the statistics, this figure increased by $250.5 million, compared to the same period last.
During the relevant period, most of the Uzbek textile products were exported to Russia ($1.2 billion), followed by Türkiye ($482 million), Kyrgyzstan ($458 million), China ($283 million), Iran ($75 million), Poland (73.2 million), Kazakhstan ($55.3 million), Tajikistan ($54.5 million), Belarus ($39.2 million), and Italy ($36.9 million).
From January through November 2022, more than 532 types of Uzbek textile products were exported.
The statistics note that in the structure of textile exports, the main share is taken by cotton yarn (45.2 percent), as well as finished knitwear and garments (28.5 percent).
