BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) exported products worth $101.3 million, by fulfilling the exports plan, from January through February 2023, Trend reports citing the press service of AMMC.

According to the statement, AMMC exported 6,889 tons of copper products and 5,235 tons of zinc products.

During the reporting period, Almalyk MMC increased its export value by 3.7 percent, compared to the figure for the first two months in 2022 ($97.6 million).

The main importers of AMMC’s products were Türkiye, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Poland, Tajikistan, Indonesia, the Netherlands, China, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan.

In 2022, mining and metallurgical combine exported 75,208 tons of copper products and 58,737 tons of zinc products, as well as goods such as selenium, tellurium, copper sulfate, sulfuric acid, cadmium, palladium powder, molybdenum products, and lead concentrate. From January through December 2022, AMMC’s export value amounted to $947.7 million.
