Uzbekneftegaz inks contracts worth over $40 mln with local producers

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. Uzbekneftegaz JSC, state-owned holding company of Uzbekistan's oil and gas industry, has signed 853 contracts with local enterprises worth 468.3 billion soms ($40.8 million), as of June 1, 2023, Trend reports.

The mentioned contract, as the company reported, were signed through the electronic cooperation portal.

As part of the program, Uzbekneftegaz continues to collaborate with local enterprises to produce certain imported products within the country.

In May and June this year, a working group consisting of specialists from Uzbekneftegaz studied the production capabilities of local enterprises located in Tashkent city and Tashkent region.

In particular, the discussions were held with certain producers regarding the product quality, requirements for protective clothing in oil and gas enterprises, and the registration process of contracts on the electronic cooperation portal.

Furthermore, the activities of "Olmaliq metal group industries", which produces quartz composite gratings using innovative technology and is located in the Tashkent region, were studied. Additionally, several enterprises specializing in the production and repair of heat exchangers, pipes, and other pressure vessels were examined.

An agreement has been reached to hold regular meetings with specialists from local manufacturing enterprises.
