TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 23. The German Berkemann company, specializing in the production of orthopedic shoes using the most modern technologies and materials, plans to localize the production of its footwear in Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
The news followed a recent meeting between the chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat leather and footwear association, Fahriddin Boboev, and the managing director of Berkemann Thomas Bauerfeind.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the details of the project to organize the production of branded shoes in Uzbekistan by providing convenient logistics, sufficient raw materials, qualified personnel, and developed production infrastructure, as well as all-round state support to make Uzbekistan attractive for the German manufacturer.
