TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, December 4. The Navoiazot industrial production complex in Uzbekistan is prepared to start producing laminated polypropylene bags of various capacities for packaging completed goods, Trend reports.

According to Navoiazot statistics, the full launch of the manufacturing complex, which has a capacity of 14 million finished goods per year, is scheduled for mid-December 2023.

The new company is expected to produce 100 new jobs. The plant is outfitted with automated technological equipment, which saves physical labor while ensuring high-quality product production.

Following the Uzbek-German business meeting held in Berlin on May 2, the German Linde company and Navoiazot agreed earlier this year to install air separation equipment in Uzbekistan.

The project's investment is anticipated to be $90 million based on preliminary estimations. The new air separation equipment will be available in the first quarter of 2026.

The plant is planned to receive more than 800,000 cubic meters of gaseous oxygen and nitrogen after the system is fully operational. Simultaneously, 91 million kWh of electricity will be saved each year.
