TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 19. Uzbekistan produced 1.01 million tons of diesel fuel in 2023, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this indicator has increased by 26.2 percent year-on-year (800,100 tons in 2022).
The production of diesel fuel amounted to 755,400 tons in 2021, while this figure reached 931,100 tons in 2020.
Also, diesel fuel production in the country amounted to 1.03 million tons in 2019.
The volume of production of diesel fuel in Uzbekistan totaled 4.5 million tons from January 2019 through December 2023.
Furthermore, the volume of diesel fuel production totaled 123,100 tons from January through February 2024.
Meanwhile, the volume of diesel fuel produced by Uzbekneftegaz, a state-owned holding company in Uzbekistan's oil and gas industry, has reached 50,900 tons from January through March 2024.
According to the data from the company, this figure has increased by 11,400 tons (128.8 percent) compared to the projected volume of 39,500 tons.
