TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 15. Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev held a meeting with a delegation of Turkish entrepreneurs led by the Chairman of the BALKANSIAD Association Fatih Sharif. Representatives of 18 leading Turkish companies also took part in it, Trend reports, citing the ministry.
According to the information, the prospects for cooperation in the areas of healthcare, infrastructure development, metallurgy, mechanical engineering were discussed with an emphasis on involving Turkish companies in the joint implementation of projects. Particular attention was paid to the development of a project for the construction of water treatment facilities and the production of automatic glass doors, dental implants and equipment for the furniture industry.
Following the negotiations, a format for further interaction was developed and stages for the practical implementation of the discussed projects and initiatives were determined. Mutual confidence was expressed that the outlined plans will become the next step in the process of deepening mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening economic ties between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
