An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale took place near Mane and Semulgan cities of Iran's North Khorasan Province this morning, Trend quoted IRNA News Agency.
"The earthquake took place in the morning. Power was cut in the Mane and Semelgan cities, housed were damaged, as well as Police staff was damaged". Muslim Rayi, North Khorasan Province Emergency Situations Depratment head said.
He said no one died and injured as a result of the earthquake.
"At present, we are eliminating consequences of the earthquake" he said.
July 21, an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale jolted Iranian Fars Province, as a result of which one died, 18 injured.
