Ahmadinejad urges Islamic world cooperation to conquer problems

IRI President said here Monday Islamic and independent countries can conquer entire problems and embrace advancement and wellbeing through strengthening cooperation and harmony, IRNA reported.
     
According to the information website of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Presidential Office, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made the comment on Monday night in a meeting with the visiting Prime Minister of Djibouti Dileita Mohamed Dileita.

Ahmadinejad in the meeting also referred to the two nations' shared cultures and objectives, pointing out, "The hearts and minds of the Iranian and the Djiboutian nations are intermingled and the two countries can take advantage of such commonalties aimed at providing an appropriate path for boosted bilateral and international cooperation."

The Iranian president expressed hope that the already reached agreements would be implemented and emphasized, "The process of bilateral talks would expand and broaden at the service of ever increasing the level of two countries' relations."

In the meeting in the presence of the IRI first vice president the Djiboutian Prime Minister Dileita Muhamed, too, presented a report on the process of negotiations with the Iranian officials and described the two countries' relations as "brotherly and idealistic."

He added, "Iran and Djibouti have shared ideals and objectives and are today after increasing comprehensive relations and cooperation."

Prime Minister Dileita Muhamed meanwhile asked for taking advantage of the entire potentials at both ends aimed at achieving that objective to serve the national interests of both Muslim nations.
