Earthquake occurs in Iran
The earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale occurred in the Iranian city of Fargan, Hormozgan province, MEHR news agency reported.
According to the information received from the Center of Seismology under the Institute of Geophysics of the Tehran University, the earthquake occurred at 10:27 local time. During an earthquake, no one was hurt.
Earthquakes often take place in Iran. The earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale took place in the city of Ardakan (Sepidan) in Fars province on January 5. As a result of earthquakes in 17 villages of Fars province, houses were damaged, some houses were completely destroyed, 18 people died.
