Iranian ambassador in UAE confers with ruler of Umm al-Qaiwain

Iran's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohammad Reza Fayyaz conferred with Ruler of Umm al-Qaiwain Sheikh Saud bin Rashid al-Mu'alla on Tuesday, IRNA reported.

In the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop trade exchanges as well as bilateral issues. Fayyaz, referring to old and historical ties between Iran and UAE, said that bilateral relations have always been friendly adding that religious and cultural commonalities have tied the two nations.

Referring to Iran's abilities in different sectors of automobile, steel, cement, food products, sanitation materials, packing industry as well as agriculture, the ambassador expressed Tehran readiness for cooperation and exchanging experiences with the Umm al-Qaiwain.
Sheikh Saud bin Rashid al-Mu'alla also called bilateral relations old and brotherly and said that ground for expansion of ties is prepared.

He continued that in addition to religious and cultural commonalities, there exist family and blood ties among two nations of Iran and the UAE. The Sheikh also welcomed Iran's envoy proposals concerning economic and investment cooperation.

He called tourism projects and small industries appropriate for beginning of joint cooperation.

The ambassador invited Sheikh Saud to pay a visit to Iran to get acquainted closely with Iran's abilities in economic and industrial fields.
