Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is going to attend the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) meeting in Bali, Indonesia, reported ISNA.

The four-day meeting is scheduled for May 23-27.

Officials and ministers of NAM member states are to take part in the meeting.

Salehi is to meet with participants in the international conference.

Also Salehi and his Egyptian counterpart Nabil al-Arabi are to hold talks on the sidelines of the meeting.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast has already said, "Iranian and Egyptian authorities welcome resumption of bilateral ties."

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister is to visit Egypt ahead of Indonesian meeting.

Iran and Egypt have had no diplomatic ties since Iran's 1979 revolution because of Egypt's peace treaty with Israel, but the two governments cooperate on diplomatic affairs at a non-ambassador level.
