Iran Materials 12 May 2011 14:45 (UTC +04:00)

A source in Rosatom reported that no nuclear fuel was supplied to Iran for the Bushehr nuclear power plant in 2011, BBC reported.

Iranian media reported on Thursday that Iran received 30 tons of nuclear fuel from Russia for the Bushehr nuclear power plant.

Iranian media quoted representative of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Hamid Khadem Kay as saying that the first unit launched this week at the minimum controlled power level.

The source told bbcrussian.com that Russia supplied nuclear fuel to Tehran only in December 2008 and January 2009. Then Iran received some 80 tons of uranium.
