Tehran’s first distributed power generation plant starts its activity

Tehran's first distributed power generation plant officially started generating electricity today, Mehr news agency reported.

Located in the west of Tehran, the six megawatt plant can produce electricity and heat simultaneously.

Power plants have huge operations. The distributed power generation plants are smaller and located much closer to their end users.

Some of these plants' most important features include the electric storage capacity, maximum use of investments. They are more efficient.
