The Roads and Transportation Ministry in Iran has sold $350 million in participation bonds during its first offering, with another offering scheduled today, the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) has reported.
The second offering will issue ove r$570 million in bonds, ministry official Ahmad Sadeghi said.
Another round of bonds will be issued during the new year, Sadeghi said.
Proceeds from the sales will fund ministry projects. including the Tehran-Saveh Freeway, the Qazvin-Rasht-Anzali railway, and the railway in western Iran.
