After the first round of negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 countries, Michael Mann, the spokesman for EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton told IRNA that talks between the group and Iran were "constructive."

The second round of talks will be held this afternoon in Istanbul.

Iranian Supreme Security Council's Secretary Saeel Jalili is metting with the delegations of six major powers (the U.S., France, Great Britain, Russia, China + Germany) to talk about Iran's nuclear program in Istanbul.

The United States and its European allies suspect Iran of secretly developing atomic weapons. Tehran denies the accusations. The Islamic state says it has a sovereign right to nuclear activities, which it says are entirely civilian.
