Iran appreciates Saudi Arabia's decision on postponing the execution of Iranian nationals who are being kept in Saudi prisons, Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said, IRNA reported.
Salehi referred to his yesterday phone talk with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Saud bin Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, noting that sides discussed various regional issues, and a question of imprisoned Iranians, accused of drug possession.
Iranian media reported some time ago about eight Iranians being imprisoned in Saudi Arabia on charges of drug posession. It has also been reported that the detainees will be executed.
