An international conference called Ghadir decade focusing on the role of leadership in the Islamic Awakening movement kicked off in Iran.
Islamic Ghadir conference opens in Tehran, 35 countries attending

An international conference called Ghadir decade focusing on the role of leadership in the Islamic Awakening movement kicked off in Iran on Saturday with participation of scholars and groups of think tank from the 35 world countries, IRNA reported.

Chairman of Iran's Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani addressed the opening ceremony.

The participating countries include Egypt, India, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, France, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Syria, Indonesia, South Africa, Algeria, Tunisia, Nigeria, Sudan, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Morocco, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Ghana.

The participants are to present several articles on related issues to the conference.
