Iran calls for non-interference of aliens in Syria

Deputy Chief of Joint of Staff of Armed Forces Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri said on Tuesday that Iran calls for non-interference of aliens in Syrian internal affairs, IRNA reported.

Iran believes that the country's problems should be resolved through Syria-Syria approach away from interference of aliens in Syrian domestic issues, he said.

Syrian people believe that their country is the target of aliens and their puppets in the region, he said.

Jazayeri said that the Syrian people call for immediate restoration of stability, but the opposition groups seek to attain their goal through instability.

He said that it is quite evident that the Syrian opposition groups lack enough strength to uproot Syrian government.

There are evidence indicating that they seek gradual elimination of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from power, he said.

All should exercise vigilance not to be deceived by misleading political programs in Syria, he said.

He called for taking into consideration silence of western media in dealing with Syrian developments.

Syrian people are very pessimistic on the policy adopted by reactionary Arabs, US, Turkey and Europe and success of such political ploys is very unlikely, he said.

He said that the western governments policy on gradual elimination of Assad through long-term political ploys is impossible.

There is no doubt that the Syrian people will attain victory in struggle with terrorists and al-Qaeda, Jazayeri added.
