Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that the next nuclear talks between Iran and the Six powers can be held in Egypt, Fars agency reported.

Speaking to the journalists, Salehi said that when he was on a visit to Egypt, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili's office proposed to hold the next talks in Egypt.

The Egyptian side has agreed to hold the talks.

According to Salehi, the place and date of the talks have not been set yet.

"There are a lot of countries that would want to host these talks between Iran and the Six powers, so as soon as the decision is made, one of them will act as a hosting ground," Salehi said.

The U.S., other Western countries, and Israel suspect Iran of developing nuclear weapons under the guise of a peaceful nuclear energy program.

Tehran denies the charges, saying its nuclear program is for civilian purposes.

Six world powers have sought since 2003 in cooperation with the IAEA Iran's suspension of uranium enrichment, which can pose a threat to nuclear non-proliferation.
