Iran's president-elect Hassan Roohani said that he will try to submit the list of the proposed cabinet member to the Majlis (Iranian parliament) at the swearing-in ceremony.

Roohani made the remarks during a meeting with around 70 MPS, the Mehr News Agency reported.

The present MPs were the ones who had signed a letter of complaint over the case of disqualification of Iran's Former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani before the presidential election.

Iran's 11th presidential election was held on June 14.

The reformist candidate, Hassan Rohani, was elected as Iran's next president with 50.7 percent of votes. Tehran Mayor Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf finished second with 16.56 percent of votes. Nearly 36.7 million Iranians voted at the elections.
