Iranian scientists succeed to produce eight units of technical equipment, which were unveiled in presence of Iran's vice president for science and technology sphere, Mehr reported on Oct.20.
According to the report, the achievements include S-band radars for commercial using, sea-based X-band radar, smart gas leak detector, smart mobile phones set to high-speed digital/optical fiber communication lines, rotosmart, airplane turbofan, on-board oxygen generation system and micro-jet packages.
S-band radars for commercial application - the device to be installed on tankers, ships, and is also intended to supervise shores and ports. The equipment is useful in bad weather conditions.
Sea-Based X-Band Radar is a floating, self-propelled, mobile radar station designed to operate during high winds and capable to be launched on ships and boats.
Smart gas leak detector is used for testing gas pipeline after being commenced to detect the probable leaks by injecting water into pipeline in high tension.
