Iran has given a Scan Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) which is made by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) to Russia, Mehr news agency reported.

According to the report, commander of the IRGC`s Aerospace Forces, Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the UAV, which was turned over to the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force, Lieutenant-General Viktor Bondarev and the Russian people, indicates Iran's technical capabilities.

He made the remarks during his meeting with the Russian Commander.

Bondarev in his turn described IRGC`s capabilities as "ahead of their time".

Iranian and Russian commanders discussed bilateral issues during the meeting.

Lieutenant-General Viktor Bondarev also met with Iran's Air Force commander Brigadier General Hassan Shah-Safi yesterday, Fars news agency reported.

During the meeting, the issues and prospects of military cooperation in the sphere of air forces and defense between the two countries were discussed.

During a Russian military delegation's visit to Iran, air force bases in Tehran and Isfahan will be visited.
