Iran's Air Force and Ground Force to hold joint military exercises

Iran's Air Force and National Army's Ground Forces will hold joint military exercises, deputy Air Force commander, Aziz Nasirzadeh said, Iran's IRNA news agency reported on Feb. 1.
Nasirzadeh said that the exercises will be held next year (starts on March 21), however he didn't specify when.
He added that there are also plans to hold more joint military exercises with other structures in the country.
Previously, Commander of Iranian Army's Ground Forces, Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said that Iran prepares to hold several military drills in the near future.
Iran frequently holds various military exercises and drills, while repeatedly saying that its military achievements are defensive and pose no threats to any other country.
