Tehran is committed to increase economic and industrial cooperation with Caracas, Nematzadeh said, Iran's official IRNA news agency reported.

The Iranian minister stressed the need to boost all-out relations with Venezuela particularly in the areas of energy, agriculture, housing, and infrastructure.

Venezuelan foreign minister Elias Jaua, for his part, underlined the importance of all-out cooperation with Iran.

It is scheduled that Iran and Venezuela hold their joint economic commission meeting in September in Caracas.
