An observatory has been created in Iran through the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization’s investments (APSCO), acting deputy director of the Iranian Space Agency Ali Sadiqi Naini said.
Iran, Peru, Pakistan and China have created a network and are monitoring space debris, Naini added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
Iran cooperates with APSCO in the field of astronomy, he added.
The Iranian side has created the necessary infrastructure, while APSCO has supplied technical equipment, telescopes and servers to Iran, Naini said.
