Iran sees steep decline in banknote transactions as liquidity tightens
Iran saw a sharp drop in the value and number of exchanged checks in the first month of its current fiscal year, compared to the previous month, reflecting tighter liquidity and changing payment behaviors. The Central Bank data also shows a notable decline in returned checks.
