Iran Materials 17 January 2007 15:08 (UTC +04:00)

(Cihan) - Kyrgyzstan is preparing to apply visa to Turkish citizens as Kyrgyz Prime Minister Felix Kulov has sent a bill on visa obligation for Turkish citizens to enter the country to the parliament.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday from Kyrgyz PM's Office, no amendments will be made on the implementation of 6-month visa for Turkish businessmen, reports Trend.

Turkish citizens apply for visa when entering Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and will have to do the same when entering Kyrgyzstan if the Kyrgyz parliament approves the bill.

Since March 4, 1992 Turkish citizens have been able enter the country without a visa if their stay in this Central Asian country does not exceed 30 days.
