The 13th meeting of Iran-Armenia joint intergovernmental economic commission will be held in Yerevan Dec. 23.
Heading a high-ranking economic delegation Iran's energy minister, Hamid Chitchian arrived in Yerevan to attend the meeting, Iran's official IRNA news agency reported.
The two parties are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation on various fields including energy, trade and environment as well as cultural and social issues.
In his three-day stay, Chitchian is scheduled to meet with a number of senior Armenian officials.
He also will participate in a quadlateral meeting between Iran, Russia, Georgia and Armenia in the field of exchanging electrical energy.
