Iran exported more than 3.064 million tons of crude oil to Turkey (about 108,000 barrels per day) in seven months of 2016, compared to Jan-July 2015, the statistics of Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory indicate.

Iran’s crude oil export to Turkey stood at 438,507 tons (108,000 barrels per day) in July. Turkey also exported 2,635 tons of petroleum products to Iran in this month.

The reports didn't elaborate on the country's oil imports statistics in the same period of last year, but Iran currently shares about 13 percent in Turkey's total crude oil imports.

Turkey was importing about 180,000 barrels per day of Iranian crude oil before the western countries impose sanctions on Iran in 2012.

The sanctions were removed in January 2016, but the statistics indicate that Iran couldn't resume its share in Turkey markets.
