Iran's oil revenues up by 4.3 times

Iran’s oil revenues have increased by 4.3 times, compared to the time of nuclear deal implementation, the government spokesman and the head of the Management and Planning Organization of Iran, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht said.

Currently, Iran's monthly revenues from oil export stand at $4.3 billion, he said, Tasnim news agency reported Jan. 6.

Nobakht said that currently 2.9 million barrels per day (mb/d) of oil and gas condensate is exported, while this figure was 1.2 mb/d before the implementation of nuclear deal, called JCPOA.

On the other hand, Iran’s oil price in early 2015 was about $30/b, and the figure has become over $50/b.
