Iran’s non-oil trade turnover up by 6%

Iran’s non-oil trade turnover increased by 6 percent to $29 billion in the first four months of the current fiscal year (started March 21), Iranian Custom Administration’s official website reported July 27.

According to the report, Iran’s imports increased by 23.97 percent to $15.813 billion. The country’s non-oil exports (including gas condensate and LPG) reached $13.459 billion, which indicates a 9.54 percent decline.

Iran exported $2.15 billion worth of gas condensate during four months. The country also exported $2.841 billion worth of non-oil commodities to China, $2.052 billion to Iraq, $2.037 billion to UAE, $1.3 billion to South Korea and $926 million to India.

It also imported $3.495 billion worth of goods from China, $2.992 billion from UAE, $1.047 billion from South Korea, $958 million from Turkey and $891 million from India.
