The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 28:
Export floor: Offers 92,400 tons of bitumen and sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 104,844 tons of bitumen, chemicals, polymers, lube cut oil, sulphur and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,320 tons of copper wire, 3,000 tons of copper cathode basket and 20,000 tons of low-grade copper as well as 190 tons of sulphur molybdenum, 12 tons of precious metal concentrate, 220 tons of rebar, 600 tons of aluminum billet, 200 tons of aluminum alloy ingots and 1,000 tons of 1000lb aluminium ingot.
Agriculture floor: Offers 21,200 tons of wheat, 4,550 tons of sugar, 1,500 tons of crude vegetable oil, 15 tons of Iranian rice (Hashemi sort), 170 tons of large lentil and 9,114 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 500 tons of palm oil, 20 tons of lactic butter and 30 tons of polyester yarn.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
