Seventy-six percent of investments in Iran’s Semnan province account for metal and chemical industries, IRNA cited Rasheed Yazdan-Fard, Deputy Chairman for Industrial Issues at the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Semnan, as saying.
He said the investments mainly account for chemical and cellulose products.
Yazdan-Fard said that about 65 percent of jobs account for the metal and chemical industries in the province.
An average of 39 billion rials (about $928,571) has been invested in each production unit in metal industry, he said.
