Tehran, Iran, Feb.17

Trend:

Members of Iranian Parliament have urged the government to sell energy carriers in the border markets at the price in neighboring countries, Trend reports citing ILNA.

Members of the Parliament have reviewed the bill of the next year budget plan.

Accordingly, the government is obliged to sell energy carriers in border markets at the price in neighboring countries or at the price on the Energy Exchange.

On January 3, Iranian parliament's planning, budget and economic commission approved the government-proposed budget plan for the next Iranian year (which starts March 21, 2019).
The next year's budget bill envisages 12 percent more budget than that of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2018).

The focus of the bill is to reduce the country's dependency on oil sale amid the US sanctions and improve the living conditions of Iranians, supporting domestic production and increase of employment.
