Thirty-eight industrial enterprises have so far been commissioned in the industrial parks of Iran’s Khuzestan Province during the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), Managing Director of Khuzestan Industrial Parks Company Akhlaq Mohammadian told IRNA, Trend reports.
According to him, these enterprises have started to operate with investments of 800 billion rials (app. $19 million).
Mohammadian added that 319 people are employed at the facilities.
"The commissioned production facilities are mainly involved in manufacturing products for metal, food and chemical industries," he said.
Mohammadian added that five production facilities have resumed their operations so far.
More than 25,000 people are employed in 73 industrial parks and stations in Iran’s Khuzestan Province.
