Cooperative companies in Iran's Zanjan province export goods worth about $1M

During the first six months (March 21 - September 22) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), cooperative companies in Iran’s Zanjan province exported products worth $803,000, said Mohammad Reza Yousefi, manager of Cooperatives, Labor and Social welfare of Zanjan, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

Yousefi noted that products by cooperative companies are exported to different countries, adding that last Iranian year (from March 21, 2018 to March 21, 2019), cooperative companies exported products worth $19 million.

“There are about 1,170 cooperative companies in Zanjan province and 12,000 people work in these companies,” the manager said.

As many as 459 cooperative companies operate in Zanjan district, 253 in Khodabandeh, 134 in Tarom, 103 in Mahneshan, 92 in Abhar, 83 in Khorramdarreh, 32 in Ijrod and 8 in Soltaniyeh districts, Yousefi noted, adding that 35 percent of cooperative companies operate in agriculture sphere, 17.5 percent in services sector, 15.5 percent in manufacturing, 13.5 percent in industrial and the rest in other sectors.
