Iran approves new amendments to support electronic administrative system

The Iranian president has approved three new amendments related to administrative policies that would support a knowledge-based administrative system.

The Administrative and Recruitment Affairs Organization of Iran has suggested the new enactments that would include equal conditions for management appointment, instruction for utilizing knowledge-based management and data integration and strategic supervision in the field of science and technology, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The High Administrative Council approved in its Sunday session that the certificate of general competency for managerial positions would not be necessary for the appointment of professional management for three years and individuals with this certificate would be treated equally with other candidates.

The instruction for knowledge-based management principles and data integration has been announced to executive organizations according to the second enactment.

The third enactment is that general science and technology policies would be based on knowledge-based management, research and integration in policymaking. The president has announced the instructions for knowledgebase management to executive organizations as part of article 5 in Civil Service Management Law.

The Administrative and Recruitment Affairs Organization of Iran aims to improve the quality of the government electronic services and accelerating the reform procedure in administrative system.
