Caretaker of the National Information Network’s Development Office said that the document on the division of duties to localize the national information network equipment will be signed soon.
"In last September, the first event to introduce the achievements of localization of advanced communication infrastructure equipment was held at the ICT Research Institute, which was welcomed by local manufacturers of this equipment," Caretaker of the National Information Network’s Development Office, Ali Asghar Ansari said, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
“Therefore, we held the second event last week with the aim of introducing the indigenous achievements of the information infrastructure of the National Information Network,” he added.
Referring to the plans made by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology, he says that our goal is to bring together local manufacturers of information and communication equipment and reducing the dependence on foreign advanced technologies.
“In last week's event, more than 40 knowledge-based companies presented active software systems and hardware equipment that can be used in the information infrastructure of the national information network,” he added.
He went on to note the existing potential in the country in the field of localization of advanced communication.
The two-day event “Localization of Information Infrastructure of the National Information Network”.was held on February 21. The companies present at the event with the ability to localize examples of SOC security management systems and equipment, NOC operations management, general processing, data storage equipment, virtual servers in the form of resource sharing, content distribution networks, special data center facilities, power, and cloud equipment, and signage The infrastructure is brought together.
