Iran's export of home appliances has increased by 34 percent from the start of the current Iranian year (started March 21,2021), compared to same time last Iranian year (started March 20,2020), said the Secretary General of Iran Home Appliance Association Abbas Hashemi.
"Iraq, Afghanistan, CIS, the Persian Gulf and north African countries were the top destinations of Iran's home appliance exports during this period," said Hashemi.
"Some of the products, including wall mounted water heater are exported to the European Union, especially to Italy," he said.
"Iran's home appliances export last Iranian year (started March 20,2020) was $200 million, while this year it reached $600 million," he said.
Statistics indicate that the value of Iran's exported home appliances in previous years was annually $170 million while reaching about $240 million in some years.
