In response to U.S. State Secretary Hillary Clinton's statements on the Iranian nuclear program made in Moscow after the meeting with her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said that Clinton's position contradicts to the results of the Geneva talks held between Iran and the U.N 5 permanent members and Germany ("5+1") on Oct 1.

"We advice Clinton to refrain from ambivalent policy and fruitless slogans of the Bush period," Mottaki added.

Iran's package of proposals and the Geneva talks' results may lead to the constructive negotiations between the sides, Mottaki said.
