Iran's president: Iran will have atomic bomb without any permission, if it wishes

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has accused Western countries of playing with the fate of people in the region. “They have no courage to admit that so many confrontations occurred because of oil, culture and politics,” he was quoted as saying by the Iranian ILNA news agency. “However, we have the courage to say that we have no intention to acquire an atomic bomb, and even if we wanted to get it, then we will not ask for permission.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has accused Western countries of playing with the fate of people in the region.

"They have no courage to admit that so many confrontations occurred because of oil, culture and politics," he was quoted as saying by the Iranian ILNA news agency. "However, we have the courage to say that we have no intention to acquire an atomic bomb, and even if we wanted to get it, then we will not ask for permission."

"Every year on the 22nd day of the Bahman month we step forward to reach the summit of the Islamic revolution. This year the Iranian nation will hold the funeral ceremony of liberal capitalism," he said at a meeting today with the heads of structures engaged in the organization of Decade of Fajr festivities.

The festivities are held in Iran every year from 12-22 of month Bahman marking the anniversary of the Islamic revolution. The Fajr decade will be marked from Feb.1-12, 2010.
