Iranˈs relief and medicine contributions to Palestinian nation entered Gaza Strip through Egypt-Palestine Rafah border passage Wednesday and their distributions will start soon, IRNA reported.
'On behalf of the Palestinian nation and Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRSC) I appreciate the contributions and support of the Iranian nation, government, and the IRI Red Crescent Society (IRIRCS),' the PRSC Office Manager Omar al-Azayezah said in an interview with an IRNA reporter in Gaza.
He reiterated that Iran's contributions will soon be delivered to the private sector relief workers, hospitals and Medicare service stations throughout Gaza Strip to ease a part of the needs of the Palestinian people that are in dire need of them following 51 days of imposed war by the racist Zionists.
'This is not the 1st consignment of the Iranian nation for the Palestinian people in need, as Iran has always contributed greatly to the Palestinians and affected the lives of this nation greatly,' he said.
'The Islamic Republic of Iran's contributions that entered Gaza in 10 trucks through the Rafah passage meet a major part of the Palestinian nation's medical care demands,' reiterated al-Azayezah.
The 76-ton Iranian consignment is in addition to medicine inclusive of tents, blankets, floor mats, and canned food, in addition to a medical relief team.
The IRIRSC had earlier dispatched three consignments worth more than US $200,000 for the war stricken Gaza residents.
