American-Iranian journalist, Jason Rezaian who was arrested in Iran will be put on trial May 26.
Rezaian who is the Washington Post reporter was arrested together with his wife, Yeganeh Salehi, in July 2014.
The trial session of Rezaian and two other people who were arrested with him will be held in Tehran's Islamic revolutionary court, an spokesperson with Iran's Judiciary said, Fars news agency reported May 19.
Rezaian, reportedly has been charged with espionage and at least three other major crimes. He was allowed to meet his lawyer for the first time in mid-May after 10 months.
A spokesman for the judiciary has indicated that the charges against Rezaian are security related.
Meanwhile the revolutionary court has not disclosed officially charges against Rezaian, Iranian media outlets claim that the charges are related to sale of information to the CIA.
