The ways to increase trade between Tehran and Islamabad and the need to raise its level, were highlighted during a meeting between Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and the Pakistan ambassador to Iran.

Referring to the visit of the Pakistani PM to Iran this May, Minister of Industry Reza Rahmani said that the two sides were seeking to explore the business and economic opportunities, Trend reports citing the official website of the Ministry.

Rahmani said that creating border markets and the identification and resolution of business problems are the ways to increase the trade between the two countries.

"I will visit Pakistan as soon as possible to make the latest agreements operational,” he added.

“The willingness of the two sides to reach constructive business cooperation is expected to be achieved in the near future with the measures taken and the greater involvement of the private sector,” the minister said.
