The official visit of Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi to Azerbaijan has started, Trend reports citing IRIB.
Ghasemi is being accompanied by a large delegation.
The Iranian delegation has started its visit from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.
Within the visit, the Iranian minister will meet with Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Vasif Talibov, get acquainted with the Julfa border terminal and Julfa-Tabriz railway station.
The minister noted that within the visit, Tehran-Baku relations will be discussed, aiming for further development.
Iran hopes to reach agreements on cooperation in energy, industry, investment and trade areas, as well as sign the final document at the end of the 15th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran Intergovernmental Joint Economic Commission.
