According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the country's state budget deficit was executed in January 2018.
Azerbaijan's state budget revenues reached 13,557.2 million manat, while expenses - 14,150.2 million manat in January 2018, the country's State Statistics Committee said.
As a result, the state budget deficit reaching 593 million manat equals 1 percent of the country's GDP.

Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee transferred 226.09 million manats to the state budget in January 2018, which is almost 30 percent more than in January 2017, reads the Committee's report.
Revenues from customs duties amounted to 59.47 million manats, revenues from value added tax (VAT) - 157.02 million manats, revenues from excise duty - 6.78 million manats, and revenues from highway-use tax - 2.82 million manats in January 2018.
Revenues from the customs duties increased by 23.8 percent, revenues from VAT - by 33.4 percent, revenues from the excise tax - by 19.4 percent and revenues from the highway-use tax - by 12.4 percent in January 2018 as compared to January 2017.
The forecast on customs revenues of Azerbaijan's state budget was 2.43 billion manats for 2018.
