Fire on one of engines causes Iran's TU-154 plane crash: TV

According to preliminary data, a fire in one of the engines of the TU-154 plane which carried out the Tehran-Yerevan flight on July 15 was a reason of a crash of the plane, RIA Novosti quoted the Armenian Public TV.

"The plane of Caspian Airlines companies carried out a regular flight on the Tehran-Yerevan route and crashed about at 12:00 local time near the Qazvin city. The plane was fully destroyed. According to the latest data, the fire in one of the plane's engines caused the crash," the TV reported.

The TV did not specify where it received this data.

According to preliminary data, all 153 passengers and 15 crew members died.
