PM: Armenia is concerned about possible crisis expected in 2012

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today that "the possible crisis expected in 2012 is the main issue we are currently concerned about".

The PM stated this speaking at the session of interstate council of EurAzEs in Saint-Petersburg, Mediamax reports.

"In 2009, the global financial crisis hit us through the construction sector which registered 43% fall whereas the main issue we are concerned about now is the possible crisis expected in 2012.
We should understand how it may hit our economy. Our consultations with the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and other international organizations don't give a definite answer to the question how the possible deterioration of the world economy may affect ours. One of the questions we are interested in is whether we will manage to ensure over 4% economic growth next year. First of all, it concerns the expectations of investors and volume of transfers sent to Armenia," Tigran Sargsyan.
