Armenian opposition bloc holds rally in Aparan town

The rally of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) bloc has already kicked off in Aparan town, Armenia, News.am reported.

The citizens gathered near the ANC office, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Aparan.

ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan as well as Nikol Pashinyan, Stepan Demirchyan are present.

One of the speakers is ANC member, former Aparan Mayor Razmik Petrosyan.

The opposition members plan to visit Ushi and Ohanavan communities as well as Ashtarak town on Tuesday.

Armenian National Congress (ANC) is an opposition bloc founded in 2008 after presidential elections. During the August 1, 2008, rally in Yerevan the first President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan announced formation of the bloc. ANC comprises 18 parties and political forces.

ANC proportional list includes 119 names. It has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
